62 Human Rights Organizations Urge the UN to Investigate Saudi Arabia’s Abuses in Yemen

Last week, 62 human rights organizations from around the world called on the UN Human Rights Council to investigate Saudi Arabia’s abuses in Yemen.

“The victims of abuses in Yemen cannot afford to wait longer for credible investigations into ongoing grave violations and abuses to be undertaken”, the letter said. “We, therefore, call on the Human Rights Council to establish, during its 36th session, an independent international inquiry to investigate alleged violations and abuses of international human rights law and violations of international humanitarian law committed by all parties to the conflict in Yemen. The inquiry should be given the mandate to establish the facts and circumstances and to collect and preserve evidence of, and clarify responsibility for, alleged violations and abuses of international human rights law and violations of international humanitarian law, with a view to ending impunity and providing accountability.”

The call on the UN to investigate Saudi Arabia’s abuses comes weeks before the Secretary-General of the United Nations, António Guterrez, has to make the decision whether or not to add the Saudi Kingdom to the UN’s Child Rights Blacklist. Last year, Ban Ki-moon removed Saudi Arabia from the aforementioned UN blacklist at the last minute, after Saudi Arabia threatened him with halting its communications and de-funding the UN.

Save the Children has been running a campaign demanding the UN stand up to the autocratic Middle East regime and shame it for its alleged war crimes in Yemen.

“Last week we handed in a petition to the secretary-generals office with 37,000 signatures … he needs to make a strong decision. He needs to make sure that the Saudi led coalition are listed,” Mr Kaye explained.

“He should do what Ban Ki-moon failed to do last year”.

Since March 2015, at least 10,000 civilians, including children, have been killed in Yemen, though the U.N. Human Rights Office believes that the overall number is much higher. During this time, the Saudi-led coalition has carried out indiscriminate air-strikes against civilians in cities such as the capital Sana’a, Hajjah, Hodeidah and Sa’da governorates, killing and injuring thousands of civilians. The coalition has unlawfully attacked homes, markets, funerals, hospitals, schools, and mosques.

“None of the forces in Yemen’s conflict seem to fear being held to account for violating the laws of war,” said Sarah Leah Whitson, Middle East director at Human Rights Watch. “UN members need to press the parties to end the slaughter and the suffering of civilians.”

Human Rights Watch has documented 58 unlawful Saudi-led coalition air strikes, some may amount to war crimes. The coalition has also used internationally banned cluster munitions. Neither the US nor the UK has suspended arms sales to the Saudi Kingdom despite evidence of their usage to commit war crimes.

Numerous Human right organizations working in Yemen have regularly accused Saudi Arabia of blocking critical relief aid from reaching civilians, including children, deepening Yemen’s humanitarian crisis. The coalition has also imposed a permanent air and naval blockade across the country, limiting the importation of food, drinking water, and medicines, contributing to the near collapse of its health system.

Around 15 million Yemenis do not have access to drinking water and basic healthcare. The country also remains on the brink of famine, with some 385,000 children suffering from severe acute malnutrition, according to UNICEF. It said the cholera epidemic has been declining since June by one-third because of help from “unsung local heroes” although 550,000 suspected diarrhea and cholera and more than 2,000 associated deaths recorded since April, UNICEF said.

“What was a steady drumbeat of support for an international inquiry into Yemen abuses has become a crescendo,” John Fisher, Geneva director at Human Rights Watch, said in a release. “Human Rights Council member countries should live up to their own mandate, heed these calls, and put in place a body to begin chipping away at the impunity that has been a central facet of Yemen’s war.”

Ahead of the increasing pressure of human rights organizations and the public opinion to add Saudi Arabia to UN’s blacklist and investigate its abuses in Yemen, Riyad is stressing that the Kingdom has helped the Yemeni people by providing basic aid valued in more than $8 billion.

Over the next few weeks, all doubts over the UN’s credibility will be removed. It will have to decide whether it is a biased partisan organization or a neutral one which is efficient in solving conflicts. Carrying out an independent investigation into Saudi Arabia’s possible war crimes in Yemen would demonstrate that the UN is still sometimes a useful organization capable of holding war criminals accountable. Lastly, adding Saudi Arabia to the aforementioned blacklist would only be a small emotional victory but none the less important due to the fact that the UN cannot allow itself to give way to the Saudi’s constant blackmail against the organization.

Yemen: The Forgotten Conflict

Since Yemen’s civil war began in 2015, the Saudi-led coalition has regularly conducted lethal air strikes throughout the country, killing thousands of innocent Yemenis. Further, Saudi Arabia has implemented a blockade of basic supplies against Yemen, including drinkable water, resulting in rampant cholera, leading to the world’s worst humanitarian crisis.

The Saudi-led coalition was initially created seeking to support the deposed President, Abdrabbuh Mansour Hadi, after the Houthi rebels had taken key positions all across the country, including the capital Sana’a and his Presidential palace, forcing him to flee to Saudi Arabia.

Since then, Saudi Arabia has justified its lethal attacks on civilians by accusing the Houthis, without any evidence, of being endorsed by its arch-enemies, Iran and Hezbollah.

According to the UN, the Saudi-led coalition regularly kills innocent people, including children. For example, a Saudi air strike killed 140 people and injured some 600 mourners at a funeral in Sana’a last October.

The United Nations’ World Health Organization has reported that the outbreak of cholera in Yemen caused by the Saudi blockade of drinking water has already infected more than 300,000 Yemenis; killed 1,500 people, 55% of them children.

The Red Cross has predicted that one out 45 people in Yemen will contract cholera. More than 600,000 people are expected to contract the disease before the end of the year. Some worrying reports show that a child dies in Yemen every 10 minutes from preventable causes like diarrhea, respiratory infections and malnutrition.

According to the UN, since March 2015, 3.2 million Yemenis have been displaced; 13,000 civilians have been casualties; 2 million children cannot attend schools;  and nearly 15 million people have no access to basic medical care. Out of 27 million people in Yemen, 20 million are starving, including 400,000 childrenand some 2.2 million are in need of urgent care.

“In the last two years, more children have died from preventable diseases than those killed in the violence. This is why vaccination campaigns are so crucial to save the lives of Yemen’s children and to secure their future,” said Dr. Meritxell Relaño, UNICEF Representative in Yemen.

Children are dying because the conflict is preventing them from getting the health care and nutrition they urgently need. Their immune systems are weak from months of hunger,” said Dr. Relaño.”

Saudi Arabia has also imposed a strict journalist embargo on Yemen, seeking to hide its acts of barbarism. It only grants sporadic access to the country to a few journalists from the mainstream Western media. On many occasions, they are indirectly endorsed by the Saudi-led coalition.

Despite the embargo, some independent journalists have risked their lives to enter the country covertly. They regularly show the Western world what the mainstream media refuses, the Saudi atrocities in Yemen.

The mainstream Western media regularly ignores the Yemeni conflict by ensuring that it is not attractive enough for the Western audience, which supposedly prefers those in Iraq and Syria because there are more parties involved.

Nothing is expected to change soon; the Saudi-led coalition will still commit atrocities across Yemen. The Houthis and the official Yemeni government will repress and kill thousands of innocent people, worsening the living conditions of innocent Yemenis. In addition, Al-Qaeda and ISIS are expected to increase their influence by taking key positions across Yemen, leading to a possible further American military intervention in the country.

Threats for 2017, and Global Resistance

In many ways, 2016 will be remembered as the year when society lost its common sense. Fascism became predominant in the world again, with Trump as a visible face; governments increased their violations of human rights; and the right to privacy, free speech and the freedom of the press were eliminated. In 2017, our society will face crucial events which could change this dynamic or make it worse.

Here are some of the global events and threats for 2017:

-Refugees: Millions of refugees are still along our borders waiting for a solution. In many cases, they have been living in precarious conditions for years now. It is provoking a humanitarian crisis that must be addressed as soon as possible. However, the Alt-Right political party and the elitist media are criminalising all refugees to halt their entrance into Western countries.

-Russia: Putin is increasing the nuclear capability of Russia to have more influence in the world. He is also abolishing human rights in Russia. As a result, activists and journalists are criminalised and sometimes assassinated by the government.

-Israel: Netanyahu’s rhetoric against the international community and Palestine is becoming more radical. He is threatening everyone who opposes his genocidal ideas. The potential international isolation of Israel, combined with his deranged actions make him a dangerous person. Everything indicates that in 2017, he will radicalise his rhetoric.

-Europe: In 2017, France, Germany and the Netherlands will hold presidential elections. Marine Le Pen (France), Geert Wilders (the Netherlands), and the tandem Frauke Petry/Jörg Meuthen(Germany) will be the perspective presidential candidates. Boosted by Trump’s success, they will have real chances to win the election in their countries representing a threat to the fundamentals of democracy.

-U.S.: Like Putin, Trump will also try to increase the nuclear capability of the U.S. representing a threat to the world. Trump is the visible face of fascism, and his ties with Alt-Right organisations, represented on his cabinet by Bannon, indicates that his presidency will soon turn authoritarian. It is foreseeable that Trump will try to abolish several human rights in the U.S.

As far as we know, these are threats to our democracy and human rights. It is in this context that, people will have to organise a global resistance to defend their rights. In conclusion, 2017 will be the year of the consolidation of fascism, violations of human rights, authoritarianism or the year that civil society will organise to defeat all these threats.

“The Trump And Spencer Connection:The New Dictatorship” (1)

Richard Spencer, the pathetic, perverse, tyrannical, obstinate, fascist, and authoritarian Nazi American leader has praised Trump “the Nazi noob‘s victory” with a ‘Heil Trump’!

Spencer, who is mentally impaired and delusional is not considered to be a real threat to society. Despite, leading these sorts of organisations for many years now, he has never been able to grow them to levels considered dangerous for society. So far, Mr. “Jester” Spencer has only been supported by delusional people with low self-esteem, who have until now felt unloved.

Of course, I think that this felonious organisation should be eliminated from our society since it spreads hatred all over the world. Even so, the only operational capacity that they possess is to arrange some meetings, picnics, and fights.

Trump’s victory has boosted fanaticism to levels not seen in decades. Combined with his delusional character and ideas said fanaticism could spread chaos around the world. However, the most worrying is the election of Stephen Bannon (a Nazi propagandistic advisor) and the possible connection with Spencer’s collective.Trump’s endorsement could boost Spencer’s felonious demographic to levels never seen before in America.

Here is how an obscure organisation could grow very fast and become a real threat to society. Spencer, who is nostalgic and already fantasising about becoming the second Hitler, is currently planning his future atrocities, acting under the Trump’s Presidency umbrella.

In such a scenario, America would have a totalitarian president (Trump), with Bannon as the new Joseph Goebbels and Mr Spencer the Delusional as the new Gestapo leader of the U.S. Though it may sound exaggerated, the combination of certain factors and the more than probable connection between Trump and far-right organizations may give rise to a new dictatorship.

P.S. Remember, I am not affirming anything. I am just warning about what may happen in the next future. So you may take action to encourage Trump not to be connected with such a tyrant. In such a scenario, the events described in this article could change.
The second part is coming soon. Enjoy!

Trump’s Victory: The Global Rise Of Fascism

The phenomenon of Donald Trump is boosting all right-wing European organizations, which [are] now growing to levels not seen since the Second World War. As a result, Marie Le Pen, the president of the Front National(FN), could become the next French president in 2017.If it ever happens it would be the first time that a fascist candidate has won a presidential election in Europe since Adolf Hitler.

Germany will also hold presidential elections in 2017 where the anti-immigration right-wing populist party AFD (Alternative Für Deutschland), was able to achieve representation in the most important German states (including Berlin) in the most recent German states elections, held early this year. Everything indicates that in the next presidential elections the AFD will dispute victory with Merkel’s party, the CDU (Christian Democratic Union of Germany).

There are many parallels between the last U.S. presidential elections and the German presidential elections of 2017. The German media is doing the same as the American [media], and they are not informing the public about the real chances of victory that the AFD has. In doing so, it may trigger a low turn-out of left-wing supporters on the day of the presidential elections, giving the AFD the opportunity to win. The anti-immigration supporters will be more mobilized than ever and will go to vote in mass.

In the event that the AFD and the FN win the presidential elections in Germany and France, the degradation/decline of democracy will be inevitable. These two victories may create a domino effect that will affect many other countries, spreading fascism around the world, where dictatorships will become predominant.

One of the very few remaining avenues for learning why fascism is rising across the world- beyond Trump’s victory- is to study European history, as the similarities are evident.

The left-wing has traditionally been divided at crucial times in history, focusing on internal fights, while fascists organizations have had the transformative capacity to convince millions of people to support their positions. For that to happen, they take left-wing slogans as own, with the intent of attracting left-wing voters.

Trump’s victory may trigger all these problems around the world and people are not aware of it. It would be interesting to demand European media to say the truth about what is happening and about the real chances that these anti-immigration political parties have of winning the presidential elections in France and Germany, [so as] to ensure that people are well-informed. In doing so, many of them will acknowledge the importance of voting for an alternative candidate in order to defeat fascist organizations that could bring chaos upon our countries.

Unfortunately, everything indicates that the media is not going to change its way of informing people, so prepare yourself for some upcoming difficult years, and if you can, try to organize yourself to resist attacks that come from these new regimes.

I hope I am wrong…

The Announced Death Of The System

There was a time where the vast majority of people supported the system because there was the perception that it was working in the direction of protecting people’s rights. For that to happen, powerful actors bombarded people with ads everywhere with the intent to influence people’s behavior. It happened while these powerful actors were getting rich from people, who were hard-working on a daily basis.

During these happy days, our society was ignoring the reality, which was different from the perception that everyone had. In such context, powerful actors went a step further in the direction of distorting people’s reality, deploying a plan to ensure that everyone could spend as much money as they wanted. For that reason, people could easily order loans at any bank. In doing such, people were blindly happy, thinking that they were as wealthy as some rich people.

Little by little, this virtual reality was becoming bigger and bigger, while people were getting poorer, and poorer, until one day by 2008, when the big bubble suddenly exploded exposing the reality and the system’s problems. Within a short period of time people were amazed to see that they were losing all their assets, while powerful actors were enriching themselves.

Nowadays, the existing brutal inequality affecting all layers of society, and the constant refusal from powerful actors to solve this problem, may trigger the construction of a parallel system where the vast majority of people will turn their current tenebrous lives into prosperous. For that to happen, it will be determinant to see the capacity of people to unite in order to inflict a “mortal harm” to the current system.

In many countries, the unexpected organizational capacity of people has surprised several governments. For the first time, in the last two decades, governments will have to deal with an unpredictable phenomenon that may block their power overnight. Everything indicates that the stunning manipulative capacity that some governments have over its citizens, this time will not work.

What is happening around the world is not a surprise because this system was made by powerful people to keep their privileges, and they knew that it couldn’t last forever. The nostalgia of people to have the same rights and the same opportunities as them will change the system and the political scene around the world.

No one knows, what will happen in the next 20 years, though my prediction is clear, if people work together in the same direction of creating a new system, then they are unstoppable because they belong to the vast majority, the 99%.

I also predict many turbulences before the system changes since powerful actors will try to resist as much as they can, which means that some new wars may start very soon. Oppression, repression, and injustices against people will greatly increase to levels never seen before, it will be their last response!

You choose what to do…

Hillary Clinton And Donald Trump VS Democracy

The U.S. political polarization is shaking the stability of the country to levels never seen before since the U.S. Civil War (1861 to 1865). The political class is playing a dangerous game that may turn into a harsh conflict between Democrats and Republicans. Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton are not working to calm the environment; instead, they are fueling conspiracy theories that make people think that the system is rigged. As a result, Clinton supporters and Trump supporters are confronting each other, and some of them are organizing attacks to be perpetrated the day after the U.S. elections. It is degrading to see people from both sides using similar arguments to attack each other.

gfgzhfgx.jpeg

Analysts are warning people about the existing similarities between the current polarization of the country, and the polarization that there was during the U.S. Civil War (1861 to 1865), which left 620,000 to 750,000 dead. Of course, the context is not exactly the same.

The poor U.S. educational system has misled its students so that in many cases they do not know much about historical facts that started the bloodiest conflict in U.S. history. It may encourage some people to create militias to start a revolution because they may think that a long conflict is not difficult at all.

A large number of people do not trust in the U.S. system including policeman/men and people from all social classes. It does not help to stabilize the country, which means that the political class should reverse this tendency.

Both candidates don’t have very firm values because they’re both trying to win over everyone in the country to ensure their victory. It indicates that neither of them is ready to become the next U.S.president. An honest president is someone who tries to unite different communities to work together to improve their lives.

tNowadays, all U.S. communities are very divided against each other, and soon this confrontation may trigger the next civil war. The damage is already done, but it is still possible to avoid a harsh conflict. For that reason, both candidates should put their ambitions aside in order to unite the country again. However, they seem to be blinded by these ambitions, and they are not able to see the damage that they have already caused around the country.

Several experts have suggested that neither shouldn’t be running for the U.S. presidency, alleging that the next president should be honest, tolerant, and well prepared.

us-elections-2016-638871Hopefully, the day after the U.S. elections either Trump or Clinton will not use bellicose rhetoric against each other, but rather work to maintain the peace around the country. For that reason, the winner will have to manage the victory wisely, and not exclude the loser from important decisions.

The next president will have to be completely transparent and demonstrate that the elections are not rigged. It may be solved by allowing international observers to check the voting process across the entire country. If that is not possible, both candidates should negotiate and choose an independent company to check all electronic ballot boxes to verify that none of them was hacked.

It will also be crucial to ensure that the FBI, CIA, NSA and the U.S. judicial system remain unbiased.

indiceaayyNo one should use any police department to prosecute his or her opponents because if that ever happens it may trigger a dictatorship. The day after the elections people will pay attention to all the details surrounding the election process. The losers will be outraged for some time, but they will not use force unless something unfair happens.

The candidate, who loses the elections should react accordingly to the fairness of the elections. If the loser can verify that the elections are clean, then it is hard to imagine that people will reject the results. In such a scenario, all parties should ask their followers to accept it. People have already suffered a lot, and it is not acceptable to mislead them to fight for nonexistent issues.

Violence should be the last option, and everyone should defend their positions peacefully. The new president should allow his or her rivals to verify that the elections are fully clean and that there is no any political interference in any police department. Otherwise, people would have solid arguments to create militias and start a revolution against the government. It is understandable because no one wants to live in a dictatorship.

Advisors from both candidates should advise them to stop being intolerant towards one another.

Therefore, they may change their thoughts and bring harmony back to the country…..

North Dakota Access Pipeline

The proposed Dakota Access pipeline will transport light, sweet crude oil from the North Dakota Bakken region through South Dakota and Iowa into Illinois. If completed, the pipeline will carry about 500,000 barrels of crude per day.

North Dakota Native Americans oppose this project on the grounds of its potential harm to the environment, and its impact on climate change. Experts suggest that a small earthquake could potentially break the pipeline, causing a catastrophe in the area. If that ever happens, a large amount of oil may be spilled into several rivers, poisoning them. In such a context, the relevant authorities from the affected states would be forced to set up water consumption restrictions that could affect millions of U.S. citizens. Drinkable water scarcity, and the families’ inability to pay the additional cost of it may provoke epidemic diseases in several cities.

Energy Transfer Partners (the owner of the pipeline) has ensured that the pipeline will positively impact people’s lives in the area.

The company has announced that it will use new technology in order to ensure the viability and safety of the project. However, experts from all around the country suggest that the completion of the project will cause an irreparable environmental catastrophe. There is clear evidence that the construction of the pipeline is already damaging the environment.

Neither the North Dakota government nor Energy Transfer Partners negotiated with Native Americans over the terms of the pipeline’s construction, to avoid harsh conflicts between them. They adopted this unilateral decision, ignoring thousands of warming from experts’- and locals. (this project costs several billions of dollars)

In this context, thousands of Native Americans Tribes from the U.S. and Canada have united to try to halt the project. For that reason, they have sat up “resistance camps” blocking the pipeline’s path.

imagpps        They claim that hundreds of new activists from all across the country are joining them daily.

Energy Transfer Partners and the government have sent the police to repress all defenseless protesters. The police are using controversial methods to oppress all protesters including [tear] gas, tasers, and dogs. According to the police department, they are acting proportionally against the protesters.

protesters_in_front_of_humvee_960The North Dakota police are also repressing journalists, who are trying to cover the protests, by fabricating evidence and charges against them. In some cases, they are arrested and threatened with imprisonment.

gettyimages-598987004Deia Schlosberg was charged earlier this month with three felonies for filming an act of civil disobedience in which climate activists manually turned off the safety valves to stop the flow of tar sands oil through pipelines spanning the U.S. and Canada.

She was there covering the protest as a reporter when she was arrested and charged with a Class A felony and two Class C felonies—which combined carry a 45-year maximum sentence.

1341433252Unfortunately, she was covering the protest as a freelancer, which means that she does not have any important support from any TV station. The police confiscated her camera and destroyed the content. It’s been suggested that they fabricated evidence against her. There have been other police abuses.

Amy Goodman, reporter from the Democracy Now, is a popular journalist who has won several awards for her work in journalism.

indiceAmy went to North Dakota to cover the protests against the pipeline. During one protest she filmed security guards unleashing dogs against defenseless protesters, who were bit by them, and needed urgent medical attention.

After the North Dakota coverage, the relevant authorities from the state presented riot charges against her. However, the judge refused to authorize that indictment, alleging that she did not commit any crime.

Watch Goodman’s report that led to charges against her below:

(Judge for yourself if she committed any crime)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=6&v=kuZcx2zEo4k

Actor Shailene Woodley was arrested during the Standoff at Standing Rock on October 10th, Indigenous Peoples’ Day, while attempting to blockade the Dakota Access pipeline construction at two separate worksites. Her detention was streamed live to roughly 40,000 viewers on her Facebook page.

imagesShe was officially arrested for criminal trespassing, though the reality is that she was peacefully protesting, with a large number of Native Americans. The judge dropped all charges.

Here is the video, judge for yourself if she committed any crime:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A-ybEPcUNT8

Unfortunately, the U.S. media are not reporting these protests, leaving thousands of activists defenseless. In doing such, they are indirectly supporting the police oppression against/over thousands of protesters.

Energy Transfer Partners and the North Dakota government are focusing on arresting all freelance journalists that are covering the protests. They do it intentionally in order to hide what is happening from U.S. citizens. They think that the journalistic coverage of these protests may attract thousands of new activists.

There is clear evidence that Energy Transfer Partners and the North Dakota government will make a big business when the pipeline will be operative and will transport millions of crude oil barrels. In doing such, they are risking millions of lives that will be affected as soon as the pipeline is operative.

Everything indicates that no one will be able to halt this project. However, there is a ray of hope at the end of the tunnel, since thousands of people around the country have suggested that they will join the protests in order to sabotage the pipeline project.

It is a project that concerns a large number of communities across several states because this project is risking many peoples’ lives, and it’s unacceptable.

Hopefully, the U.S. media will decide to cover it……

The Degradation of the American Democracy

Democracy is government by the people, a form of government in which the supreme power is vested in the people and exercised directly by them or by their elected agents under a free electoral system”.

Analysis of U.S. democracy.

For decades, the US had been the most democratic country in the world. But in 2001, when George W. Bush became the 43rd president of the United States, the government became progressively totalitarian. The Twin Towers attack on September 11th gave Bush the pretext to repeatedly violate the U.S. Constitution alleging security reasons, while people were still in shock.(There are many speculations that the US government perpetrated this terrorist attack in order to impregnate fear into people with the purpose of becoming more influential over people around the world). However, there is not clear evidence to prove it, so we will never know what really happened.

According to The Shock Doctrine by Naomi Klein:

The most effective way to modify the Constitution is by impregnating fear into people, and keeping them in shock”

People think that the government does the best for them when there are conflicts.

Six days after the terrorist attacks in Washington, D.C., President George W. Bush sent a 12-page Memorandum of Notification to his National Security Council That memorandum, we know now, authorized the Central Intelligence Agency to set up and run secret prisons to torture prisoners, including thousands of innocents, to ensure that they would incriminate themselves for being terrorists.

Thousands of innocents incriminated themselves to avoid more torture from the US Army. citizens and foreign nationals in the United States, despite previous legal prohibitions against such domestic spying.

President Bush signed a secret order in 2002 authorizing the National Security Agency to eavesdrop on U.S. citizens and foreign nationals in the United States, despite previous legal prohibitions against such domestic spying.

George Bush was able to modify within two years the US Constitution and international law without any opposition.

At this point, the US democracy was already broken.

George W. Bush opened its doors to the NSA to spy on US citizens without any court order, which means that everyone in the country could have been targeted by the NSA without any suspicion.

In 2003,Bush violated the US constitution, when he invaded Iraq alleging “security reasons”, We eventually knew that he had fabricated proofs to invade Iraq. He made this decision, which was provoked by the US Army, who was, as one would say,“thirsty” for war, and the US weapons companies.

A few Years later, in 2009 Barack Obama became the new president of the United States of America. Initially, everyone around the world trusted him, and people thought that he could change the world for the better. However, during his second term, Obama violated US law, by allowing the NSA to do mass surveillance over US citizens.

Currently, Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton are not ceasing to accuse each other of personal attacks that are mining peoples’ mind with dangerous ideas around the country. It is turning dangerous because people are radicalizing, and racial crimes have greatly increased.

According to the US media, more than 41% of people in the US think that the (US) elections are rigged by Hillary Clinton and her team. Donald Trump has encouraged this idea by saying that he will only accept the results of the US presidential elections if he wins. This statement has spread hatred all over the country, which may cause riots in the streets.

Both candidates should not be allowed to run in the US elections: Hillary because there is clear evidence that she is a criminal, and Donald because he is racist.

Trump followers have said that they may organize militias to fight against the next government if Donald loses the elections. These sorts of things do not happen in a democratic country.

In conclusion, there is still a sort of democracy present in the US, but if politicians do not become more honest, and allow people to decide how they want to live, then the US will soon turn into a dictatorship of sorts.

The Day After The US Presidential Elections

Everything seems to indicate that the day after the US presidential elections, the new president will have to deal with social conflicts across the country. Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton are using a dangerous rhetoric in their endeavor to attract new voters. As a result, American society has been radicalized, and now, millions of people are willing to take any action in order to ensure that their candidate will win the elections. Some people have even suggested that they will not accept the result if their candidate does not win the elections. If this is as widespread as it appears, some people might be tempted to organize anti-government militias, with the idea of taking the control of the country in order to restore democracy. The reasoning here is that, it has been asserted, the US presidential elections have been rigged.

Currently, American society has been divided into three groups:

1- Donald Trump supporters: They are fanatics willing to do whatever Donald says regardless of the consequences. The most recent revelations talk of collusion between Hillary and the government against Trump, and this is empowering the latter’s followers to organize militias in order to take the control of the country if he loses the election.

2- Hillary Clinton supporters: They are moderate, and they are supporting Hillary because they do not like Trump since they think he could be the “Hitler” of our times. However, they acknowledge that Hillary is a corrupt person, who is collaborating with [type] terrorism.

3- Anti-system supporters: This group is formed by the vast majority of Americans, including Hillary and Trump supporters. They have lost trust in both political parties since they have been colluding for many years in order to keep their privileges. As a result, they are willing to organize militias in order to fight against the US establishment because they do not have anything to lose in this war.

This is the current situation in the country, and unless the present tensions are reduced before the elections, the conflict may be long and hard to handle, and millions of people will die. It is time to ensure that democracy prevails above any other thing. Police departments should charge Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump, media directors, and people from the US establishment because all of them are criminals.
